" Ribbons desde La Raíz "
" Ribbons desde La Raíz "
This is a shoot curated with prose, narratives, and reflections of disconnected communities under the umbrella of "Hispanic", such as indigenismo, chicano, latinx/e/a/o/, and other unaccounted communities, to trace the roots (La Raíz) of these global communities.
Ribbons are "utilized" to tie together these narratives of the community to commemorate not as an absolution of Hispanic Heritage, but all of these communities' heritage, utilizing the traditions of indigo staining each community.
A Indigo-curated shoot
